Now we’re looking for a Reliability & Maintenance Manager to join our team who will transform how we support our equipment from a reactive repair model to a scalable, reliability-
centered maintenance model. By implementing the processes you develop to improve the reliability of our systems with the rest of the team, you will provide crucial insight and drive change as our systems evolve.
With your passion for digging into complex machinery and your knowledge of proven and effective preventive maintenance techniques, measures and remedies, you’ll tackle a variety of challenges with our small, innovative team.

Design, implement and train the team on new RCM processes and track our performance
Develop and implement equipment asset plans using Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), FMEA, Risk Based Inspections (RBI) and other standard reliability techniques.
Analyze equipment trends, historical data, and field data to recommend and justify improvements to obtain lowest life cycle cost on different classes of equipment.
Compile and write training material and conduct training sessions on quality control and maintenance activities.
Evaluate current designs and identify, develop, implement, and test modifications for reliability and maintenance improvements
Collaborate with our highly skilled design team on turnover of projects to build reliability programs for new and existing equipment
Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and develop cost-effective equipment / systems-corrective actions
Lead reliability related incident investigations including prioritization of action items and follow-up on implementation.
Ensure lessons learned, best practices, and action items from reliability incidents are communicated both internally to the site and externally to other sites and incorporated in the design of new projects and new technical specifications.
Assist in the identification and set-up of spare parts stocking
Provide periodic reports as assigned on problems and their solutions for distribution to team and management personnel.
Respond with commitment and sensitivity toward satisfying the needs of internal and external customers.
Actively promote a reliability culture and continuous improvement philosophy
Required Skills / Experience :
BS in Engineering related field or other BS / BA degree AND 10+ year related work experience
Prior people management experience (whether formal or informal, such a leading projects) is required
Project Engineering experience (preferred)
Train matrix team members, support staff, and stakeholders in machine / system operation
Strong hands-on experience with automated instrumentation / equipment for laboratory, production, and / or agricultural field environments
Knowledge / Experience with Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Reliability-Centered Maintenance, and Root Cause Failure Analysis
Proactive approach to equipment maintenance to anticipate issues and process bottlenecks
Strong computer skills related to data capture, organization and analysis
Strong foresight, planning, prioritization and organizational skills
Passion for and experience with quickly identifying and troubleshooting problems
Demonstrated effective written and oral communication
Demonstrated objectivity and flexibility in approach and ideas
Demonstrate a commitment to maintain a safe, clean and orderly work area.
Ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams
Develop and implement test protocols to validate key system performance metrics
Collaborate with Safety departments to comply with industry design and safety standards
Lead initiatives to identify and implement process improvements in operational models, enhancing timeliness, quality, reliability, safety and cost of production
Communicate compelling, validated analyses to all levels of organization including peers, senior management and internal customers to drive both strategic and operational changes
Preferred Skills / Experience :
Specific experience developing and training others in reliability-centered maintenance procedures
Familiarity with Six Sigma methodology
