The Brand Manager will act as the strategic business leader with Sales, Innovation and other functional groups
within the organization. Responsibilities include developing an annual and long range business plans, portfolio
design and strategy, value proposition development, forecasting, communication and promotional plans,
innovation strategy and management, business performance analysis, and P&L management.
Duties and responsibilities
Manage daily portfolio activities in support the development of the Food Service & QSR portfolio.
Develop the strategic plan for Food Service & QSR; identify growth opportunities and develop key
strategies, activities and tactics to enable delivery of financial objectives
Manage and set customer pricing, build total value proposition, support trade and customer shows,
prepare category reviews and help present to select customers
Lead and manage cross-functional project teams to execute new product launches, packaging
design, artwork approvals, SKU and materials management and financial feasibility exercises
Support monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process by working with Demand Planning to
prepare monthly SKU forecasts and participating in consensus activities for SMG and chain accounts.
Manage agency relationship and communications plans, as needed, in support of the annual
Conduct business analysis and reporting (sales, profits, competitive activity, promotional results, etc.),
including ongoing Risk & Opportunity ledger for key accounts.
Manage marketing spending budget and reports on spending results and ROI
Other projects / duties as assigned or needed
Bachelor’s degree required in business and marketing related areas.
Master’s degree desirable
Minimum 5 + years’ experience in marketing with a focus on Food Service industry
Personal characteristics or functional capabilities should include :
Experience in developing creative for advertising materials, POS, Strategic initiatives, direct
marketing and online advertising communications.
The successful candidate will need strengths in analytics, financial and strategic acumen, report
design and generation, communication (oral and written).
Self-starter and independent thinker
Capable of managing and prioritizing multiple initiatives of varying complexity.
Interpersonal savvy, resilient, manages ambiguity, situational adaptability and drives results.
Work on cross-functional, cross-cultural teams.
Computer Proficiency in Excel, Power Point & Word.
