Position Summary :
Specifically, we are looking for an experienced person that can help us analyze and execute key technology in Payments and be the technology thought partner for the engineering and finance organizations.
You will solve challenging problems to boost business growth through a deep understanding of consumer behaviors with applied analytics techniques and business insights.
An ideal candidate should have a robust knowledge of direct product consumer lifecycle, previous exposure to payments data / processes, optimization of payments processes, familiarity with refunds, chargebacks, representments, processor load balancing;
processor redundancy, cascading, and payment retry logic. This role is highly collaborative, and the analyst will work closely across multiple teams.
Required Responsibilities :
Responsible for relaying information to vendors and other internal teams in easily understood terms for both technology and business.
Liaise with the business, development team, vendors, and technology on an ongoing basis.
Responsible for effective communication to all business partners and users to ensure that critical strategic decisions are vetted and well thought out prior to implementation.
Evaluate data gathered from multiple servicing and other source systems reconcile differences, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-
level information to understand and distinguish optional user requests from what is required.
Conduct user acceptance testing as it relates to the solution.
Work independently with users to define concepts and under the direction of program managers.
Develop a deep understanding of the payments platform and processes to deliver deep technology and business insights.
Create operational reporting and act as the lead for the day-to-day technical performance measurement of our Payments platform.
Utilize knowledge of performance data to help inform the Payment platform roadmap.
Help create visualizations and dashboards to trend / track metrics.
Analyze test outcomes, define significance baseline, report results in a consistent format that can be comprehensible to varied set of audiences.
Help discover insights by diving deep into current payments and billing data to help create opportunities for optimization.
Advises and leads in the planning and implementation of technical projects and strategic initiatives for Finance Payment Solutions.
Drives business team members to define business needs through utilization of effective elicitation techniques.
Evaluates data gathered from multiple sources, reconciles differences, and ensures consistent approaches, data interpretation, and results measurements are employed.
Manages the implementation of new merchant IDs with credit card processors and gateway setups.
Required Qualifications :
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting or related field.
5-7 years’ work experience in the online payment industry, including CNP payment processing, risk management and international Payments experience which includes different CNP payment methods such as local credit and debit cards, wallets, bank transfers, etc.
on high volume platforms and the management of country-specific risks and payment types.
Strong understanding of payment card brand rules and regulations, PCI-DSS and Chargeback representments.
Ability to collaborate with and build strong relationships that drive results across all internal teams including Finance, Platform, Customer Support, Product, and Marketing.
Extensive experience consolidating and analyzing large sets of transaction data from multiple acquirers with daily reconciliation / audit to backend and third parties.
Extensive experience implementing refunds, chargebacks, rep-resentments, load balancing, redundancy, cascading, retry logic programs with technical teams.
Understanding of multiple payments types, multi-currency, descriptor strategies, mobile payments / real-time payments and experience with friendly fraud TC40 and decline codes.
Ability to support extended business hours to accommodate India time zone.
Experience working with acquirers tech, dev and account management teams.
Experience working closely with industry experts, consultants, acquiring banks and payment processors.
Desired Qualifications :
Experience with the definition and management of SLAs.
Experience managing a vast amount of acquirers in US, LATAM and EU regions.
Understanding of Agile project management with an emphasis towards Scrum based development.
Proficient in SQL queries and database relationships.
Experience with managing PCI audits and working with business units to successfully adhere to audit requirements.
Is well versed in upcoming 2018 VCR (Visa Claims Resolution).
