Position Summary :
As our Product Marketing Manager , you will create, develop and oversee the marketing strategy and drive marketing collaboration towards achieving our ambitious traffic acquisition and customer engagement goals.
This includes owning the positioning and research strategy for your consumer brand and product line. A big part of the job will include partnering with product managers and engineers across the globe to secure user adoption, increase retention and lifetime value, analyze market opportunities and trends, help drive and create subscriber value, develop and hone positioning and product story arcs and ultimately, drive a set of product marketing programs to create customer value.
Required Responsibilities :
Ability to function as primary product marketing lead contact internally and externally.
Ownership of their consumer / customer within their product / segment / initiative and ability to translate those consumer / customer needs / expectations into appropriate actionable feedback to the product team to inform product evolution and prioritization.
Own, develop and create a marketing strategy and oversee a high-level execution across digital channels (SEM, SEO, Content, Social etc.
in a matrix environment.
Develop product positioning, customer segmentation, cross-product strategies and lead creative and messaging development with creative, oversee the delivery of onsite marketing copy, emails, landing pages and videos et al;
while collaborating closely with UX / UI.
Partner with the product, engineering, and production teams to develop and execute product roadmaps, timelines and agreed upon deliverables.
Analyze market, customer, product data to generate innovative breakout’ product marketing strategies and execute on them.
Develop strategies for improving visitor-to-subscriber conversion and increase engagement and lifetime value across segments.
Drive cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, marketing, business development and product stakeholders to achieve product performance objectives.
Partner with Product Manager and Optimizations Lead to orchestrate A / B testing and personalization.
Lead internal product marketing and brand development, develop communications and guidelines and encourage adoption across marketing, design, and engineering departments.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related liberal arts field.
5+ years’ experience in a B2C online product marketing position, owning a revenue-generating product marketing line in e-
commerce or subscription business model.
Market Research : industry news and general technology trends awareness; ability to translate them into POVs, share with product and business teams, devise ways to assimilate trends internally.
Go-To-Market : experience crafting detailed launch plans including messaging, pitch, packaging, pricing.
Experience collaborating with multiple departments on launching to customers, prospects.
A proven track record in product management including generating compelling and easy-to-understand product marketing content that will illuminate product benefits to customers and enhance customer experience.
Proven track record in performing well in a fast pace environment and organizational skills to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines effectively.
Analytical, quantitative mindset - Excel doesn't scare you in the slightest. Data-driven, results-oriented, go-getter who can operate at both strategic and tactical levels.
