Louis Berger is seeking an Operations Manager to take on the role of managing the emergency management efforts in Puerto Rico.
This individual will perform administrative and other managerial duties for work supporting FEMA on several contracts through the following :
Work closely with the contract administrators to assist in the coordination of contract services.
Assist in contract documentation, invoice verification, and general record keeping for both service and materials contracts.
Data entry into various programs for inventory, work planning, incident reporting, budgeting, etc.
Assist in third party recovery claims and tort claims, compiling all documentation.
Work as part of a team directing agency snow removal operations, using recognized techniques to ensure the safety of the traveling public is of utmost importance, with primary focus being on reporting conditions and monitoring equipment usage.
Attend meetings as a representative of agency with contract personnel and coordinate the fiscal staff to issue work requests, PO’s, and payment vouchers.
Position will consist of day / night shifts as needed.
Assigned other duties as directed when workload allows.
5+ years of administrative support experience
Experience in the construction, engineering or transportation fields highly preferred
Experience in contract documentation, invoice verification, general record keeping and data entry
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong communication skills both verbal and through written correspondence
40 hr HAZWOPER
Training required ICS-100,200 & 700. DOD-AT1
