Inventory Control Coordinator
6+ months contract
Entry Level-Training provided
reconcile inventory discrepancies and researching situations related to the accuracy of inventory. You will also be responsible for general office duties, accounting and some facility compliance work.
You must be able to work in an ever changing environment and be able to coordinate daily workflow with other individuals within the facility and external to the facility.
Additionally, you must be flexible in handling workload changes, interruptions, and be able to return to the task that you were performing.
Major Responsibilities :
Process transactions related to shipping and receiving material in a warehouse.
Reconcile inventory discrepancies and research situations related to the accuracy of inventory.
File freight claims
Ability to work in an ever-changing environment and be able to coordinate daily workflow with other individuals within the facility and external to the facility.
Flexible in handling workload changes and interruptions.
Responsible for general office duties (filing, processing invoices, ordering office supplies)
Education / Experience / Licenses etc. :
Preferred Bachelors of Science or Associate degree or a minimum of one year of college
Minimum 3 years of experience in distribution environment processing transactions
Inventory control and purchasing experience preferred
Experience working in a fast paced environment, with the ability to multi-task a must
Good computer skills (Microsoft office); SAP experience a plus
Excellent team player and customer service driven
Excellent communication and organization skills
Detailed oriented and good math skills
Willing to work overtime, as needed
Must read, write and speak English
