This is a strategic Project Manager leadership role in Hospitality Design and Construction within a dynamic, high growth, industry leading company.
Lead and work closely with a proactive team focused on identification and delivery of innovative solutions in an environment which encourages professional development.
Report to the Project Director, work closely with internal project team members, the client, designers, and vendors, and be an active member of the Management team.
Be responsible for comprehensive project evaluation and planning, and successful on time and on budget completion of each project.
Collaborate with Project Director in evaluation of project challenges, and development of project scope, budget and schedule.
Develop comprehensive understanding of client agreement requirements and limitations.
Assure project team members understand project processes and that the team works in compliance with approved plans, specifications and company policies and procedures.
Use project management tools to plan, execute and communicate effectively with team members and clients to assure projects are completed on time and on budget.
Assure project progress via periodic on-site inspections.
Coordinate development and delivery of client project progress reports.
Lead or participate in client project meetings.
Negotiate and maintain control of project change orders.
Review payment requisitions, supporting documentation.
Prepare and review purchase orders, RFP, RFI and related requests.
Assure procurement of required building permits and municipal jurisdiction approvals.
Bachelor’s degree required.
4+ years of experience as Project Manager in the Hospitality Design and Construction Industry.
Significant work experience with Project Directories, Procedure Manuals and Project Process Mapping and Adjustments, Resource Identification and Qualification, Project Take-
Offs, RFI, RFP, CO, Submittal and Other Tracking, Change Orders, and Reporting for Preliminary Scope of Work, Change Tracking Reports, Scope, Budget and Schedule Variance, Master Project Schedules (MS Project).
Significant use Microsoft Project and other MS tools.
Proven experience managing multiple simultaneous projects while meeting on time and on budget requirements.
Significant experience in procurement of building permits and municipal jurisdiction approvals.
Track record of collaboration with clients and team members.
Ability to participate in United States travel up to about 60%.
