Responsible for the management and supervision of a manufacturing Value Stream process. Each value stream is define per product family and is functionally composed from a released mixed tank until final finish good packing.

The value stream is typically composed of printing, filling, overpouch, sterilization and packing. Also, each value stream could operate more than one shift and weekends based on market requirements.

Responsible for the Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), complaints, investigations (quality and safety), maintenance (corrective and preventive), audits and on-

time release of its value stream manufactured batches.



Supervise and manage 3 to 6 subordinate leaders (supervisor / superintendent, technician, assistant supervisor, etc.) who lead an approximately 100 to 200 employees in its value stream.

Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of its value stream.Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

  • Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees;
  • addressing complaints and resolving problems.



  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Natural Sciences, Engineering or Business Administration from four-year college or university;
  • five or more years related experience and / or training; computer knowledge (Windows, Microsoft Office, etc.).Ability to comprehend, analyze and provide recommendation to improve the manufacturing area financial performance.


    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

    Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of directors, managers, clients, customers, employees and internal or external audits.

    Fully bilingual (English and Spanish languages).


    Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.


    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

    Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.


    cGMP's Training, and other trainings, certificates, licenses and registrations that the immediate supervisor refers.


  • Observes and promotes company security, industrial hygiene, cGMP's, procedures and other security measures already established by the company;
  • should inform any violation.


    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear.The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.

    The employee is occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms; and stoop or kneel.The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 10 to 20 pounds.

    Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.


    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, risk of electrical shock, and risk of radiation.

    The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.


    While performing the duties of this job, the employee has to use : computer, telephone, Company Procedures and Policies, office supply, copy machine, fax machine, calculator.

  • The incumbent must use the proper equipment in any Baxter area to comply with Company policies, and any internal or external regulation;
