The Data and Applied Scientist in Anti-Piracy Services Investigations will have a great opportunity to shape how we proactively and reactively address emerging piracy threats.
The Investigator will have the opportunity to help identify, scope and remediate piracy and fraud activity across a wide range of programs and channels, in addition to help implement prevention controls, and legal action.
We are looking to expand our investigations team to provide greater coverage with individuals that like to solve complex problems using analytical tools.
Lead investigations efforts including identification of leads, review data and patterns analysis for anomalies, identification of cases & research, and management for all aspects of the case.
Lead identification of perpetration methods, including root-cause, and perpetrators.
Proper handling of evidence in accordance to legal standards and processes.
Support and influence Channel Security Managers' controls implementations efforts as part of investigation / remediation efforts.
Drive and influence Investigations automation efforts towards achieving higher efficiency.
Establishes best practices for shared strategies that set the standard for clear expectations, scope and scale and minimize redundancies.
Experience with Microsoft SQL and other relational databases In-depth understanding of sophisticated threat modelling.
Strong written & verbal communications skills.
High degree of curiosity and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Criminal Justice, or related technical field, or equivalent business experience.
8 + years of relevant employment experience.
