Responsibilities :

The Business Analyst II is responsible for leading a team of Business Analysts and Junior Quality Assurance in analyzing business and technical processes to define and develop new and improved business information processing systems and performing quality testing on the systems.

He / She is responsible for requirements gathering and overseeing of the quality testing during pre-implementation and prior to releasing new software and features.

Responsibilities :

  • Preparing extensive detailed documentation of the business cases, rules and system requirements.
  • Creating full documentation of actual processes and future processes of the company, departmental policies and procedures and software application manuals.
  • Coordinating with internal / external clients and technology teams to gather project requirements and system specifications such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and control.
  • Overseeing the process of defining requirements and business cases for the technology development of applications.
  • Analyzing business requirements and technical processes to assess the need and to help identify solutions for processes and / or system enhancements.
  • Helping to execute cross-functional projects.
  • Supporting the technical team during the development cycle.
  • Supporting QA in the creation of test plans and test scripts.
  • Documenting and performing quality and integration tests to applications developed by the company to ensure the documented requirements and business needs are met.
  • Supporting users during new development implementation; providing user training and ongoing support.
  • Requirements :

  • 3+ years of experience in Software Development / Engineering or Business Analysis (preferred).
  • Computer proficiency, knowledge of Microsoft Office products, and Internet experience.
  • Basic understanding of Computer programming languages, specifically ASP.Net, VB, VB.Net, C++, C#.
  • Knowledge of the Healthcare, Pharmacy, and Pharmacy Benefit Management industries, Medicare Part D, and CMS regulations is a plus.
  • Analytical and critical thinking, Accountability, Strategic thinking and planning, Software Development, Debugging, leading a team, Mentoring, Attention to detail, Organizational skills, Customer service focused, Desire to be challenged, Working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively (read, speak, and write) in English and Spanish.
  • Education :

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Technology, or related field.
