Your tasks and responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this role, HRBPGlobal Breeding Puerto Rico, are to :

  • Gain a clear understanding of currentand future business strategies in order to influence the PeopleStrategies and implement an effective
  • people plan;
  • Demonstrate active leadership duringorganizational change efforts;
  • Develop effective coachingrelationships with key businessleaders;
  • Apply HR knowledge and skills toeffectively drive business practices and resolve peopleissues;
  • Providing ongoing coaching andconsultation to people managers;
  • Foster accountability for employeedevelopment and performance by ensuring training / goal - setting andrecognition plans / programs are inplace;
  • Ensure effective leadership andoperational excellence of all basic HR processes includingperformance reviews, incentive planning and talentreviews / succession planning;
  • Provide counsel and assist employeesand people managers in resolving complex or controversial HumanResource problems, including disciplinary counseling, legal issuesand terminations;
  • Assist in developing and implementingdiversity and inclusion as well as people developmentefforts;
  • Deliver operational excellence anddirection around Bayer’s people processes, policies andphilosophies;
  • Support the Global Breeding HR Lead andteam in delivering the People Strategy across thefunction.

    Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree and 11 years ofprogressive Human Resources experience OR a Master’s degreeand 9 years of progressive Human Resources experiencerequired;
  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanishlanguages required;
  • Functional knowledge of HR practices,policies, practices, and programs;
  • Experience coaching and providingleadership development across multiplelevels.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’sdegree preferred in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, orrelated degree;
  • Previous HR Generalist experiencepreferred.
